Sister Loretta Spotila is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has been a member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine for over 50 years. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 45 years and received a Master's Degree in nursing from the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, in 1973. Sister Loretta founded Interfaith Wellness Ministry as a nonprofit organization in 1997.
Sandra Arvin has been Office Manager of Interfaith Wellness Ministry since April 2014. She came to IWM with over 25 years’ office experience working for both Eastern Kentucky University and Estill County High School. Along with her other talents and gifts, Sandra’s invaluable proficiency with organizational skills, expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation and database management prepared her well to keep Interfaith Wellness Ministry running smoothly.
Cheryl Stepp comes to Interfaith Wellness Ministry from the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service where she retired after 36 years of service. She has won and/or been nominated for numerous awards for her excellence in service through the U.K. College of Agriculture and its affiliates. In her capacity with the Extension Service she worked with farmers, homemakers and youth in Estill County. She is well-suited to understand the needs of our community.
